3 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
1 /2 tsp garlic powder
1 /4 tsp pepper
1 /4 tsp paprika
1 /4 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp olive oil
1 /3 cup orzo
1 cup rice
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Heat the chicken broth, butter, and seasonings in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Once it starts to simmer, reduce to low.

Add olive oil to a different medium saucepan and heat over medium-low. Toast the orzo until brown, about 5 minutes. Add the rice and toast for another 5 minutes.

Pour the broth mixture over the grains and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.

Add the parsley to the pilaf and mix. Cover and continue cooking until all the broth is absorbed. Fluff and serve!
