1
Create marinade by combining baking soda, salt, 2 tbsp orange juice, 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, pepper, 1 tbsp corn starch, 2 garlic cloves, and 1 tsp ginger in a bowl. Marinate the chicken for a few hours.
2
Note! The sauce can be a little spicy (for Tannah). Cut back a bit on the chili garlic sauce & red pepper flakes to ease her pain.
3
In a different bowl, combine 1/3 cup orange juice, 1 tbsp soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili garlic sauce, 1/2 tbsp corn starch, orange zest, 4 garlic cloves, 1 tsp ginger, chili flakes, brown sugar, and salt to taste.
4
Heat the oil in a large pan and cook the chicken until no longer pink. Add the sauce and simmer until thick, about 5 minutes.
5
Steam the broccoli and add to the chicken. Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds over everything and serve over rice.
