Cream of Mushroom Chicken
Chicken cooked in creamy mushroom sauce.

1 1/2 pound chicken
1 medium onion, chopped
1 10.5 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
333/1000 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Chopped parsley, for garnish

Cut chicken in half length-wise & season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Add olive oil & 1 tbsp butter to a skillet and heat over medium-high. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, then transfer to a plate.

Reduce the heat to medium and add the other tbsp of butter and the onions to the skillet. Cook until onions are lightly browned.

Add the broth & condensed soup to the skillet and stir until smooth.

Reduce heat to medium-low and add the chicken back in (with juices from the plate). Cook for another 5 minutes until the chicken is fully done.

Serve topped with parsley if desired.
